Odebo products use plastics for packaging. It is strong, durable, lightweight and versatile and unfortunately not easily replacable. There are valid concerns regarding how plastic impacts the environment and we take this very seriously. As part of our larger sustainibility goals, we are working on reducing the impact of plastics on our products.
First, we are working towards delivering our products in concentrated forms, reducing the amount of plastics that are used.
Secondly we are working on providing refills in concentrate form so that the containers can be reused as much as possible.
Thirdly we have reduced the use of plastics in packaging by using metal and paper wherever possible.
Fourthly, we are experimenting with alternate material like aluminium and glass for various products.
Our journey to reduce and remove plastics fully will take some time and will require new ways of doing things, but we are determined to take responsibility and find new solutions.
